Description: (ONLY BRASS DIPPER IS FOR SALE.OTHER IMPLEMENTS AND DECORATIONS ARE NOT INCLUDED.) I am listing for sale, a Large, Antique, Spun Brass Dipper, with a Long Iron, Rattail Handle. It would have been used to dip liquids from a large Iron floor Kettle. Striking sheen and patina to the Brass. The Iron Handle is attached with Brass Bolts. See photos. Rolled Brass Edges. The Handcut Handle has a lovely swirled Rattail End, for hanging. The Spun construction of the Dipper is evident, on the inside of the pan. See photo. It is in Good Antique Condition, with expected age wear and patina of Antique Brass. There is an old dent, at the base of one side. See last photo. The Dipper measures a Large, approximately22" long. It measures approximately 6 1/2" diameter. As you see, beautiful displayed on a fireplace.
