This a very rare lamp. What is amazing is the way the bridge arm is made. Normally the early century arm were a filigree and the cord would be routed through from core pipe to socket hardware. This a heavy piece of brass that contains the hidden wiring. It is in excellent antique estate condition. It was originally a floor lamp. The only parts of the lamp that are not original are the shade, socket hardware and the core pipe finished cover (see photos). The shade is artisan hand blown and there are no chips cracks or repairs. There are areas of patina or tarnish (see photos).
