Antique, 1920s Wedding Church Pew, Bench or Chair Decorations, Painted Silk

Description: These wedding placard decorations are so incredibly fabulous! They are dated 2nd August, 1927. Made of white silk (that has mellowed over the years) covered paper, silk fringe trim, and paper covered wire. Both are painted with the date and monograms, one being what looks like ABS and the other FW. The colors of the paint are a lovely blue, purple and green. What appears to be hydrangeas have also been painted on. The FW one has a silk ribbon bow attached to it and I can only assume that the other placard had one but has since been lost. They are both in great condition. One of the backs has a few small stains that look like there were cause from a clear liquid.
