Description: Wonderful and fabulous, antique 1910s/20s Egyptian Revival chain mail metal evening bag or purse. Nice and unique design to it, the ornate top clasp contains plastic jewels. The chain measures 15” 1/8 long. The opening clasp measures 6” 7/8 across. The depth of the bag is 8” 5/8 deep. There’s some condition issues, mainly a missing bottom beads. Also there’s aging blue/green oxidation on the middle front of the bag as show in the photos. Also there’s holes on both sides of the opening clasp. There’s about 3 holes on the chain mail, as well as a missing o ring on the inside middle of the bag. The bag will still hold things and is ready to wear.
