Description: Nice antique 1887 handwritten leather diary belonging to one A. F. Kimball of North Haverhill, New Hampshire. The diary is overall in very good condition with just some minor wear. There appears to be an entry for every day. The memorandum, address, accounting pages, etc near the back of the diary have a few pages with handwritten content, though there are a fair amount of blank pages as well. The pages are mostly nice and clean with just some occasional light foxing, soiling, and grubbiness. The diary entries are pretty concise and mainly talk about everyday mundane Victorian activities such as work, the weather, etc. The leather covers only have some very light wear. The binding is good and sound. The entries are written in pencil. The back endpapers have some handwritten calculations. The diary measures approximately 6 inches by 2 3/4 inches. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
