Description: Offered for sale is an English sterling silver hallmarked Victorian locket - no chain The oval locket has a repousse buckle motif and hand engraved front. Hallmarked indicates it was made in Birmingham in 1882. Also has a mark of “J.M” for the maker. Length of locket with bail is 2.75”. Weight is 16.5 grams. Very good antique condition. Has overall scratches/scuffs from use but no dents or other damage. Does not have a liner.
