Description: Up for sale is this very rare antique 1869 copy of, "General Examination of the Pacific Ocean." The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. It is an old institutional library copy with bookplates to the front papers, some stamps to the title, and a couple of other pages with some other minimal stamps or markings. The book is illustrated with 3 folding maps at the back of the book. The covers only have some light wear. The binding is good and sound. A few pages have a small marginal tear. The interior is lightly toned from age but is fairly clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness, or some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a creased page corner, small chip, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book measures approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and is 212 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
