Description: 1973 July 6th NWA Atlanta Georgia at the City Auditorium Size: 28 inches x 22 inches -Andre The Giant, Bill Watts, Bob Orton Jr, Tim Woods, The Infernos, Mr. Wrestling and many more fought this night. This is one of the first times Andre the Giant performed in the United States in his amazing career. He had just come over to North America(Canada) from a huge start in Japan. Rene Roussimoff, dubbed the Eight Wonder of The World got started with the WWWF in 1973 and was performing all around the United States. This match is just before show promoters switched to booking and promoting Roussimoff strictly as Andre the Giant. This event poster is likely the first Atlanta show for The Giant out of many in his amazing career. It's hard to imagine many shows where Andre was at the bottom of the card! Just a great piece in wrestling history. For a 50 year old event poster, it's in nice condition. Some tape marks, nail marks and one puncture as shown. Has great color. Thanks for looking.
