Description: AMERICAN THERMOS BOTTLE CO.THERMOS #2585 STAINLESS GLASS HOTEL CLARIDGE PITCHER. Pretty cool looking pitcher it opens and closes and works. I think this thing is pretty old is pretty heavy and when I got it, it was pretty old looking. I cleaned it with a little bit of barkeepers friend. It looks looks beautiful and it opens and closes really good. The inside the glass liner looks really good too could be used if you wanted to. It's built like a like a tank I'm not sure which hotel it is. There's one in Manhattan and Atlantic City that are both long closed.. Somebody listed one of these and said it was from 1911 which I don't think it's at all but I looked online. It said they started making these vacuum bottles in 1904. The company in Norwich I think open in like 1912. The pitcher is , approximately 6 inches tall maybe a little bit taller and any of the dirt that you see on it would clean up even more. I just barely clean this thing and it looks the way it does pretty amazing how shiny I got.
