I kept the natural shape and polished it to a highly reflective shine. This incredible specimen has Vivid colors of mineralization visible at depth in translucent quartz. It also has smoky quartz, which makes this specimen even more unique. This stunning piece can be displayed as a stand-out showpiece in any collection. It looks like a claw or talon breaking through my display shelf. Due to its hardness, this material takes an amazing glass like polish. It was polished in stages with the final stage polished with 1-3 micron aluminum oxide. I personally selected all my specimens to ensure they have the most attractive and desirable features. Yellow Cat is not only beautiful but valuable as well. Tiffany's one had a mine for this same material, and a specimen recently sold for $50,000 at a famous auction house. The colors can not be adequately photographed to give an appropriate appreciation of how striking they are. I offer a refund if not as described. It looks like an artist made it.
