Agave Attenuata FOX TAIL AGAVE one tropical plant pup offset *BIG*

If you have a more specific question, message me BEFORE buying anything, not after. Thank you so much! This listing is for one pup from the Agave Attenuata Fox Tail. Agave Attenuata is a succulent perennial which produces an amazing rosette of flexible, thick, silvery, pale-green leaves which resemble an open flower. There are no spines or teeth, just a smooth fat leaf. The stem is thick and can reach up to 4 feet tall, with the trunk becoming more visible as the older leaves of the rosette fall off at the bottom (or you can just crack off the crummy looking ones as they lose color or turn yellow). Each rosette will flower only once, usually when the plant reaches about 10 years old. This plant derives its common name from the impressive arching flower stalk which emerges from the rosette. Reaching up to 10 feet, the flower stalk arches down and then up again, resembling a fox tail. The stalk has small, densely-packed yellow-green to white flowers. Flowers are followed by seed pods. The rosette dies after flowering, but suckers/offsets at the base remain as new plants. This plant is virtually disease-free and so easy to deal with. I just plant them and walk away. I don't have any pics of the flower stalk because I usually don't let them live that long. You can search those pics online. When they get that big, they take up too much space, so I remove them and plant smaller ones. If they get too tall, but you still love the plant, you can saw them off and just put the stem with the top of the plant in the soil and it will grow new roots. It is an easy way to immediately solve the issue of the plant being too tall....hack it off to the desired height you want and shove the stem in the soil. Very cool! These are wonderfully easy to grow and make beautiful border plants or centerpieces for any landscape. This plant is drought tolerant, but of course needs water too. It is just so easy. The plant you will receive will be about 4-6 inches across (and about that tall also) and shipped bare root with some soil and no pot. Do not worry if a leaf gets bunged up in transit, because this one grows new leaves fast. It is really hard to make sure they are perfect because the leaves are fragile, so you will most likely have some scuffed leaves. I will do my best to pack them safely, taping the root ball to the box so the plant does not shift and break leaves. PLEASE UNPACK THEM CAREFULLY! This plant will grow anywhere, in any condition! Please see my photos in every one of these descriptions. I have it thriving in all sun conditions. This auction is for a single pup similar to plants shown in the last 2 photos. The pup will be a healthy offset, about 6-8 inches wide with many leaves. Plants will grow to to around the size seen in the photos, which is 2-3 feet across, and even bigger if you let them! If the leaves get broken or marred, don't worry, just break them off from the base and new leaves will be seen at the center of the rosette. This one recovers fast from damage. I have had a whole plant smashed by coconuts, only to look great again in a few weeks. Love it! The leaves are easily bent and broken, but don't despair! It recovers fast with new leaves. I will try and pack it really well, taped into the box with some dirt, so it won't move or break a leaf. Plants will be shipped with some soil around the roots.
