Description: Agate Jumbo Tumbled/Meditation Stone Approximate Size : 5.3 x 4.4 x 1.9 cm. Weighs approximately 73.2 grams. This is a lovely piece of Agate crystal which has been tumbled and polished. It is a freeform piece, fairly flat and fits comfortably in the palm of the hand. The colour is dyed Pink to enhance the banding/patterning often found in Agate. This piece is no exception. When held to the light, you can see the subtle banding in the piece, and a hint of semi translucency. There is a definite hint of grey material through the pink in this piece.This specimen is quite versatile - it can be carried in a pocket for its healing/metaphysical benefits; be part of a crystal collection or a great way to start one off; or be used as a 'meditation' crystal, similar to a 'worry or thumb stone', which can be held, rotated and rubbed to provide calmness, de stressing and guidance. The flat shape of this piece would make it ideal as a 'worry stone'. Agate is quite a common crystal, found all over the world. It comes in a range of natural earthy colours, as well as the specimens, such as this one, which have had a dye introduced to enhance the banding/patterning and to add interest. From a metaphysical viewpoint, Agate provides grounding and balance, and is a great crystal for putting one more in touch with oneself, increasing analytical abilities on situations and self.
