Description: This is a custom 12" figure lot of 2 figures commemorating one of my favorite tv shows from the 1960'-70's, Adam-12. Adam-12 originally ran on NBC. The show was on from September 21, 1968 through May 20th 1975. The show followed he lives of Los Angeles (LAPD) veteran police officer Pete Malloy played by Martin Milner and his rookie partner probationary police officer Jim Reed played by Kent McCord. Both actors did a great job in their roles. Each episode was basically a day in the life of these officers. Their patrol car's call sign was "1-Adam-12". The stories were based on true stories from the tragic to the trivial, about real cases, with the names changed to protect the innocent. This series would introduce people to police jargon. The series was very realistic and became popular. PLEASE NOTE before BUYING- the uniform shirts were modified on the shoulder emblem to show City of LA (the show had City of Los Angeles). the equipment is attached to the belt with black twist ties that look like belt clips and work as intended. PLEASE NOTE- billy clubs are wood and homeade. also Please note: although this figure lot does not look exactly like Malloy/Milner or Reed/McCord, there is a bit of a resemblance.
