If you are comfortable with crimping and soldering, save a few dollars and purchase the parts to assemble this jumper adapter yourself! Comes with the parts needed for one jumper adapter; 1' 10awg wire, 4 terminals, 4 pieces of heat shrink, and the 2 plastic adapter pieces. Instructions -Split both ends of wire and separate about 2", then strip small amount of insulation from wire. -Slip heat shrink on wire, then crimp on terminal. Repeat for all 4 wire ends. -Solder terminals to wire, slide heat shrink up over end of terminal, and apply heat. Repeat for other terminals. -Straighten terminals if needed, and bend the small locking tab in the center of the terminal out more. -Insert terminals into plastic pieces, taking care to match the positive and negative symbols with the red and black wire respectively. Pull through with pliers and make sure terminals lock into place. If needed, remove terminal and bend locking tab farther out.
