Description: On offer is a lot of six (6) vintage softcover books on the theme of Native American, Inuit, and Indigenous culture that were published by Platt & Munk Co. in 1935. The books are: LeapingTrout: A Little Iroquois Boy Micco: A Seminole Indian Boy Morning Star: A Little Pueblo Girl Nigalek: A Little Eskimo Boy Watlala: An Indian of the Northwest Winona: A Little Indian of the Prairies The books are softcover wraps, all lovingly illustrated in color and black-and-white by well-known children’s book artist Roger Vernam (1912-92). Each book is in the Octavo format, 8 pages in length for each volume. Dimensions: 7 inches wide x 8 inches tall The condition of these books is VERY GOOD, particularly considering they are nearly 90 years old! There are no missing pages, and no writing, scrawling, coloring, or other defacement anywhere to be seen. Covers are all in good shape as well. I have included one photo of a torn page in the book Nigalek. Best of all, the interior illustrations are in great shape, with the color illustrations being especially impressive. Kids will love these little books. I’ve posted 24 photos (covers as well as interior illustrations) to give you a clearer idea of what you’re purchasing. All photos are of the item being offered for sale and there are no stock photos. These great kids books are from my personal collection in a non-smoking environment. Enjoy!
