Thinner diameter mouth, in sweet iron that naturally rusts to offer a sweet taste for your horse. Has a medium and quite wide port for ample tongue relief without correction. Very popular mouth, but is no longer offered in a the Kimblehook cheek. Comes with curb strap. What is a Kimblehook you ask?! It is the perfect cross between a Pelham and kimberwick, still offering leverage options and can be ridden in a second rein. The large cheek shape gives more stability and acts like a full cheek to engage the cheek as well as the mouth. Such a nice bit! Offered for less than retail and without the hassle of importing! Per Trust: This mouthpiece is a rod with a medium tongue arch. The tongue arch provides more tongue freedom so that there is no pressure on the tongue but is distributed over the layers. This makes the bit ideal for horses with a sensitive tongue or horses that stick out the tongue. The Sweet Iron bits are made of steel and have a recognizable blue color. Sweet Iron develops surface rust through contact with (air) moisture that tastes sweet and stimulates the horse's saliva production in a natural way. This will cause the horse to foam more, which ensures better acceptance of the bit. This rusting process (oxidation) changes the blue color of the TRUST bits to brown-grey.
