Description: 25.5" Scale Maple Fretboard DIY Semi-Finished 6mm Black Dot Inlays 24 Fret approx 1/4" thick Made for standard 42mm nut 50mm 12th fret It is slightly wider to account for sanding. The width is determined by mathematics. No matter how many frets you want, it will be wide enough. No worries. I don't need to give the heel measurements to make sure it will work for you. They all need to be cut to size so the heel of these can vary in width. It leads to unnecessary confusion and is an amateur question. If it wasn't on the correct angle going down, the string clearance on the edge of the fretboard would look funny. If anything make your neck to fit the fretboard, not the other way around. If you have questions and/or would like to learn the proper processes, I am just a message away. This allows you to still build your own instrument but alleviates the need for expensive tools and jigs to get a precise finish. The radius is not done yet because it should be glued up first. You want to glue up squared up pieces if possible. The neck shouldn't be shaped yet if you are making it from scratch. The less radiuses to deal with, the better. Your skill depends on the outcome. These are cool because you can also learn on them. If you would like to buy more than one or buy them in bulk, just message me. Joe Kyser
