Description: Tendersweet Orange Watermelon Seeds, GMO Free, oblong watermelons are both lovely and delicious. The strong rinds and sweet orange flesh with high sugar content make these a favorite for many. They grow about 18" long and weigh about 35 pounds when they reach maturity after 95 days of growing. In warm climates, plant six seeds per hill, with 6' to 8' of space all around. In cool climates, start seeds indoors, one month before transplanting, using peat pots. Plant three seeds per pot, 1/2" deep, keep soil at 80-85F. Thin to strongest seedling, and transplant a week after frost. Put two or three plants in each hill with a 6' to 8' space all around. Grow: As vines develop, mulch to control weeds and protect melons from the soil. Keep soil moist. Seeds are shipped in a regular envelope with a stamp. There is no tracking because shipping is free.
