Description: This 1.5 quart white casserole dish featuring a charming floral design is covered with duck lid and was made in 2012 with high-quality bakeware material. It is part of the Frieda Collection created by BIA Cordon Bleu International. This company was established in California in 1952 to import European kitchen brands and later shifted tomanufacturing and importing high-quality porcelain and stoneware products from Asia, according to Amy L. in her Aug. 21, 2022, post on the Facebook group Vintage Copper Treasures. The BIA stands for Belgium Importers Association under which the company is registered. Pre-owned, this dish has no apparent signs of usage without any cutlery marks in the base. It is in very good condition, like new. There are a few spots on the bottom of the dish which is common with some stoneware manufacturing. (Please see pictures after the photo of the base bottom and logo.) Similarly, there are four spots on the base of the duck cover. Photos of these follow the photo of the underside of the duck lid. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fragile nature of this item, I will insure your package and pay for the shipping. In order to process any claims, should the item be damaged during shipping, I will photograph how the item was protected before packing and the condition of the box before shipping. I was raised in an antiques business and was trained to package delicate items. For a refund to be issued to the buyer, if the item is damaged in any way, buyers must provide the seller with a minimum of 4 of the following photographs: (1.) photograph the box as it arrived, before opening (including photos of any parts of the box that appear damaged). Please open the box on top and take (2.) a photo of the item as it is positioned in the box. After removing the item, please take (3.) a photo of the item in its wrapping. After uncovering the wrapping, please take (4.) photos of any damage. USPS says: If a claim is filed because some or all of the contents are missing or damaged, the addressees must retain the mailing container, including any damaged articles, all packaging, and any contents receipted. Upon written request by the USPS, the addressee must make this proof available to the local post office for inspection, retention, and disposition in accordance with the claims decision. Failure to do so will result in denial of the claim. It would be helpful to take these photos even if the box appears undamaged in case the item inside breaks during shiping. Without these photographs I will not be able to collect on the insurance I purchased. Without the insurance being paid I will not be able to refund any money to the buyer.
