Description: I purchased these Chantecler menus in an estate collection menu lot in the Washington, DC area. Included here are:the dinner menu with an insert of 4 pages, measuring about 15-1/4" by 11" the dessert menu, measuring about 10-3/4" by 14-1/2." The cover artwork is a painting by Raymond Moretti. The menu features dishes by Chef Jacques Maximin, head chef 1978 through 1989, at Chantecler in the Negresco Hotel, Nice, France. He obtained a Michelin star in 1979 and then a second star in 1982. The colored stickers upper right corners have come off indicating dinner vs dessert I believe, leaving sticker residue. The menus are in good vintage condition with some wear on the corners and back of the dessert menu. Please also refer to the photos. Note that the menus photographed blue but are beige: photo #7 shows a piece of white copy paper insert against the truer color of the menus. Shipping: I will ship the menus in a to-fit ziploc-type bag, sandwiched between heavy pieces of cardboard, in a clean recyled recyclable heavy brown paper mailer. Thanks for looking.
