Description: Antique women' s white lace and pleated cotton Dutch bonnet, mid - late 19th century found in family trunk. Made of pleated cotton and floral lace patterned fabric. Traditional shape with winged flaps that turn up on either side. Side wings are stiff but they have not been starched back to stand out from the face. It is lightly soiled. I consider it to be in good condition though a small segment of the lace is detached from the cotton on the left wing. Measures 9.5 inches crown to base and 13 inches back to front. I have not laundered the bonnet. All items are sold as-is, and I do my best to point out all condition issues and provide a detailed description and photographs.
