Description: 1999 Skybox Premium Star Rubies Singles - GRADED Set Break! Sweet card! Grace's Jersey Number on this iconic late 90's insert. Condition is fantastic - while in a PSA 6 slab this card is every bit NM-MT or better. It's a beaut! NOTE: Currently processing a batch of PSA 6's. These are really high-end cards, most of these would see a BGS 7.5-8 (perhaps some better) as PSA does not adjust their grading for this type of card stock vs. BGS which is far more lenient. PSA also seems to be less generous in giving out 8/9/10 from this set vs. prior practices as well. Thanks for looking. They're back! I recently got back a wonderful batch of 1999 Star Rubies from PSA. Many are the top graded specimen from PSA. The set is brutal to achieve in high grade due to the all foil front prone to chipping, just like the Precious Metal Gems from the same year, and the back of the cards are all black borders that instantly betray wear and chipping. An iconic issue, rising in popularity with sets like the Credentials and Precious Metal Gems - these are getting tougher and tougher to come by. Many players have not come to market in years. The fronts have a gorgeous prismatic foil shining surface, and the backs feature iconic photography on a black background with bold serial stamping at bottom. Condition on these are generally fantastic for such a condition sensitive issue. I will call them NM-MT generally, some will be better and gradeable, I will make sure to note any major condition issues. If you are super condition sensitive feel free to inquire prior to buying to get more clarification or more photos.
