Undated, this type was issued in 1992 and pictures a “Tongkang”. It was an unmotorized open cargo boat, propelled by a variety of methods, including rowing, punt poles and sail. "Standard Catalog of World Paper Money" (Modern Issues 1961-) by Albert Pick. #28. Face: CP474655 • Deep purple and brown-violet on multicolor underprint. • Tongkang and two other small boats. Back: Chingay parade. • Printed by Thomas De La Rue and Company Limited, London. The Note: A nice, moderately used specimen, it saw some hands. Still quite presentable, it has no edge or body tears and no pinholes. The note will be sent in a new currency holder that protects it.
