Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This lot is for a MCM (Mid Century Modern) era beautiful Blenko-style glass decanter with stopper in a light grey color. This is similar to a 6212 design by Wayne Husted from 1961-1962. However, this version is without the footed pedestal with stem and the stopper is a round bulb style. This appears to be more in the style of the John Nickerson 7225 style version from 1972. This has the same shaped flattened sphere design and has a 1/2” high bottom base that is about 3 1/2” in diameter. There are many decanters with round spheres but only a few have the flattened sphere shape as seen by Blenko Wayne Husted, Joel Myers, and John Nickerson style. The top edge of the neck of this decanter has a small spout/lip to direct easy pouring of the liquid inside. Both the bottle and stopper are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, scratches or damage. I have found only 2 small air bubbles on the bottle. The glass of this bottle does has not have water stains. A very clean glass throughout. The bottle only (without stopper) measures about 7 1/2" high. It is about 7" wide at its widest area. The bottle with the stopper inserted is about 10" high. The stopper only (not inserted into the bottle) is about 3 1/2" long. See photos. Photos shown are considered as part of and in addition to the description. 1) I accept PayPal. 2) Winning U.S. bidder to pay $35.00 S/H. 3) All Bidders: Payment must be sent within 2 days from the close of the auction.
