Description: „Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy / Selected Songs” (original title in Swahili: „Kuutema Mlima wa Chui kwa Akili”) – original complete set of 2 flexi-discs with the original cover in the performance of the Peking Opera, published in 1970 by China Records. The discs are accompanied by a presentation booklet in Chinese. One disc is green and the other is red and there are 6 songs in total from the opera. Format: 17.5 cm (7 inches). Speed: 33 ⅓ RPM. Excellent state of conservation. IMPORTANT: Given the rarity of Chinese private record players in the 1970s, flexi-discs were largely intended to be played by broadcast stations over a network of wired loudspeakers that permeated both urban and rural spaces.
