Doris Nieh, the only woman to become a special or "still" photographer for motion pictures, was in town Monday and Tuesday to do missionary work in behalf of a pictured called "The Hawaiians." Miss Nieh's mission with "The Hawaiians" was strictly secular - she shot the picture while it was in production on the islands of Maui and Kauai and in Hollywood and climbed nude into a Japanese communal bathtub that contained, among other people, Charlton Heston. This scene will be one of the cleansing highlights of the production when it is released later in the spring. Photo measures 10.25 x 8inches. Photo is dated 04-17-1970.
