1961 Fender Stratocaster Body Vintage Original American Natural

Description: 1961 Fender Stratocaster Body This body was refinished to natural back in the 80's and has a nice clear coat. Most likely poly but I don't know for sure. The contours are good and it does not appear to have been over-sanded. It a light one and only weighs 3 lb 10 oz!It has some small dings and scuffs, but it's mostly smooth and clean. There is a crack coming off the neck pocket but it was not causing any structural issues when the guitar was together. As you can see, it's been routed for an extra switch but it will be completely covered up once you install your pickguard.This part was removed from a genuine American made 1961 Fender Stratocaster. The serial number was "61097", the neck was dated to May 1961, the body is dated to June 1961 and the pots dated to April 1961.
