Description: 1960 Vintage WHIMSIE DOLL Bessie the Bashful Bride 20” AMERICAN DOLL TOY CO WOW! She has been stored away in a chest for many, many years as part of our extensive Whimsy collection. The hair net around her neck has about disintegrated. There is paint off her lips and a red stain under her bottom lip that I did not try to clean or remove. She has on an adorable wedding dress and collar, but not sure if it is original. Some discoloration and coming loose at some seaming. She could use a good cleaning. Feathers on top of head held together by a hat pin. Also a bobbie pin in hair. Slip and panties, again not sure original. Some black scuffs on one hand and one small red dot on one big toe.
