It is a comprehensive study of birdlife in Cyrus. This study records 210 birds and their significance within the Cyprus landscape. The study gives a record of the history of Cyprus Ornithology from 1336 to 1958. In the introduction it also includes rainfall and other useful scientific information. The book is accompanied by a selection of beautifully drawn vignettes and plates. It includes 31 plates and additional in text vignettes. A folding map of Cyrus accompanies the text. Collated complete. Tipped in leaflet to page 112 with information on warbler breeding. CONDITION Handsomely bound in a quarter morocco binding. Externally very smart. Internally firmly bound. Signed to the half title. Spotting to the first and last pages but the pages are generally bright and clean. Tide mark to the title page. Spotting to the text block. plates and folding map clean.
