This poster features beloved Disney characters Donald Duck and Horace Horsecollar to remind factory workers and others laboring in support of the war effort of the importance of eating a nutritious breakfast. Horace Horsecollar is shown blasting Donald with a jackhammer under the poster’s title you can’t breakfast like a bird and work like a horse! A 1943 copyright by Walt Disney Studios is printed on the poster. This vintage original poster has no tape or pinholes and and shows moderate handling wear and has a small hole of about 3/8" at the top between the words "bird" and "horse". There is a small shallow notch off the right edge near the lower corner not affecting text or illustration and slight wear on the right edge near the top corner. There are a couple small spots on the back of the poster that do not show on the front side and modest toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
