Having a fluted design to the body of all three items, with the tea pot mounted with a brown wooden handle and finial to the hinged lid. Hallmarked for the Birmingham assay office, year date letter of an uppercase "D" to the tea pot and sugar bowl for 1928, an uppercase "B" to the creamer for 1926 and maker's mark of "Mn & Wb" set within a shield for 'Mappin & Webb' of Sheffield, established in 1775. The condition of all pieces is superb, with some minor dings to the bodies as to be expected, the interiors are clean and unstained, the handle and finial are undamaged, with some rubbing of the hallmarks on the sugar bowl and creamer as shown, though all are still legible.
