Description: The Warren Harding 1 1/2 cent stamp found on the mailing tube dates to 1925 so it's safe to assume this device was produced and sold in the latter part of the 1920s. It appears to be nothing more than a couple of long pieces of scientific glass and a marketing pitch. The 1920s were some of the waning years of snake oil merchants and dubious medical claims, but they were still prevalent and this device certainly can be viewed with some skepticism. Still, it's a great piece of history and quite a curiosity!
