Floral scene with the with embossed birds and flowers on frame. Art deco geometric patterns in the 4 corners of each side and on the crenellated fringed bottom border. Has a short metal link chain handle. Interior of hinge frame impressed "Mandalian Mfg Co. U.S.A.", the manufacturer. Not solid silver. Frame is gilded. Handle is bronze-colored. Dimensions: Body is 6.5" from clasp to fringe and 3.5" wide by approx. 3/8" profile depth. Handle is 12" long. Maximum length from center of chain when held to bottom of fringe is 12". When hinge frame fully opened, bag opening is 3-5/8" x 3.5". Unpacked weight: 5 oz. Condition: Excellent condition. Mentionable issue: Previous repair inside hinges (see sewing shown in last two photos). Metal hinge frame is bright, not showing corrosion or condition issues. No losses seen on exterior enamel paint . Mesh is securely attached to frame, with joining rings all present and attached appropriately. No tears, holes, or metal issues, such as corrosion, bends, dents, pings, dings, bashes, or other blemishes. Handle is intact and securely attached. Hinge opens and closes as it should.
