Description: 1880s Victorian RHCo Door Cabinet Entry KNOB, Plates, LEVER Handle w/SLIDE LATCH Here is a very complete set of solid brass/copper locking hardware that could fit a small wooden cabinet enclosure. I originally got this set to use on an old drugstore cabinet I was restoring, but, I went another route. This is 1880s Victorian era hardware for sure and is marked RHCo inside a shield on the lock/latch assembly. RHCo was the trademark of the Reading Hardware Company Reading, PA that operated during that period and made much quality hardware. Does not have any mounting screws for the rectangular backing plates or lock/latch plate but can be found quite easily. Condition is very good, no real damage, some scuff marks from use, mechanism works smoothly, slide latch button functions properly, has a nice looking overall patina to the surface. If you need one, they can be quite impossible to find anymore. The 2 mounting plates measure about 3-1/2 inches by 1-1/2 inches and have hole center spacing of 2-7/8 inches. The actual lock/latch assembly brass mounting face measures about 2-5/8 inches by 3/4 inches and has hole center spacing of about 2-1/8 inches. Please see all photos provided. Thanks for looking.
