You get a NICE unfired "2 Ring" Civil War Bullet & a $35 Interest Payment Coupon from " The Boston , Hartford & Erie Rail Road Company " $1,000 Bond (lot #BC26). YOU GET BOTH ITEMS SHOWN FOR ONE BID, BOTH ARE 100% GENUINE , these are NOT reprints, restrikes or copies, both are 100% original items that are well over 150 years old!! THIS IS NOT A STOCK PHOTO, YOU GET THE ACTUAL LOT SHOWN IN PICS. The '2 ring' Bullet was never fired & is in great shape w/ original patina. The bond coupon has an AWESOME PICTURE OF AN OLD STEAM LOCOMOTIVE TRAIN ON FRONT that gives this little note excellent eye appeal!! GUARANTEED 100% GENUINE & AUTHENTIC pair. The coupon is from a 1867 dated $1,000 Bond from The Boston Hartford & Erie Rail Road Company. It is super nice & crisp with little signs of use or wear. These are small - about 1 inch x 2.5 inches. Note says; "" The Boston , Hartford & Erie Rail Road Company Will pay the bearer THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS in The City of New York on The 1st Day of July 1875 for Semi annual Interest on Bond No. 5696 "" followed by the signature. THIS BOND WAS USED IN THE USA & AND AT BOTTOM it shows it was printed by & says in print "AMERICAN BANK NOTE CO. N.Y.". We think this is a very nice historical Civil War era LOT with super nice eye appeal but since this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION or BUY IT NOW please see photo's & judge for yourself. The Bond was printed in 1867 - the coupon has a later date as it was not set to mature & be cashed in until the 1870's. We have a small batch of these & other denominations & every lot is a little different so be sure to check out our other auctions. The coupon is a small size note that was cut from a large Bond, it's approx. 1 x 3 inches. It has a bold signature & all lettering/print is very easy to see. It's in very nice shape with little wear or handling as it was cut from a bond that was remarkably preserved - its a very nice item considering its 150 + years old! Nice eye appeal with good color on an original lot that has never been cleaned or messed with.
