This scarce map was published as no. 9 in the Report of the Superintendent of the Coast Survey showing the progress made in the survey for the year 1861 under the supervision of A. D. Bache. The river map shows depth soundings along the river course, and marks lighthouses, towns, ferries, etc. Condition: Antique folding chart in good antique condition, nice impression on sturdy paper, uniform light age toning, slightly darker along the folds, a couple of spots, some folds repaired and reinforced.
