Description: Up for your consideration, 1838 large cent Thank you for visiting my site. I Recently selected some large cents that appealed to my taste. If yours is similar, maybe you’d appreciate them. I do see on the reverse some copper showing through in the reverse upper right quarter. My guess some coloring was done to this at some point or the patina is rubbing off. Obverse looks better in hand than under magnification, lots of marks and things going on. rim dent between 2-3 o’clock. Not seeing half of what I see looking at it in my photos, take my words for it.
