Long trailing vines produce irregular-shaped fruits that average 40 to 60 pounds each, but which can grow as large as 100 pounds when pruned to 1 to 2 fruits per plant and fertilized! The fruit's thick skin is a lovely pinkish-orange color with slight ribbing, making Mammoth Gold an excellent choice for carving jack-o-lantern.
