Description: Nice unique Hemipristis (aka Snaggletooth) tooth with excellent serrations. The white stain in the gum line is caused by roots that are exposed to the tooth underground. The roots excrete small amounts of acid that stain the fossil. This is common in the Bone Valley formation in west central Florida. All my fossils are personal finds. This Hemi was found in Manatee County. Please see my other items. Over 60 fossils listed. This fossil is between 3 and 10 Million years old.
